Meet Miss Kate
Hi! I’m Miss Kate — an early childhood and special education teacher with over 15 years of experience supporting children and families through both learning and behavioral challenges. At Early Learning with Miss Kate, I believe children learn best when they feel safe, supported, and understood. My approach combines engaging, play-based learning with practical, real-life support strategies that help children thrive both academically and emotionally. Through my experience working in autism and special education classrooms, I’ve had the privilege of closely supporting not only students, but also the families navigating meltdowns, communication struggles, transitions, sensory overwhelm, and school-related stress.
I believe:
behavior is communication
regulation comes before correction
simple systems work better than perfect systems
parents deserve support, not judgment
Whether you’re a parent, homeschool family, educator, or caregiver, my goal is to provide practical tools, engaging resources, and supportive learning experiences that actually work in real life — not just in theory.
Here you’ll find classes, printable resources, visual supports, and strategies designed to make learning more accessible, reduce overwhelm, and help children feel successful both at home and in the classroom.
You are not failing. You are overwhelmed — and you do not have to navigate it alone.
